Our mission is to make data fairer, for everyone.

We believe that what happens to your data should be up to you.

With Rightly, you can make sure that you’re in control of your data, and keep it that way.

about us

Why we do this for free

Since 2018, you can legally ask any company for your data and tell them what to do with it. We just make it easy for you.

You shouldn’t have to pay to exercise your rights, which is why we’ve chosen to keep our services free for consumers.

We don't use consumer data for commercial purposes, which means we'll never, ever sell your data. It also means that there are no adverts or hidden costs.

Our journey began in 2017, with the idea that managing your personal data could be made simple.

We’re UK based

Our main office is in Angel, London. We love it there, but some of our team also work remotely from other areas of the UK, ranging from Northern Ireland to Devon.

This also means that we’re both subject to GDPR and accountable to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). To read more about this, check out our Data Ethics section or our FAQs.
