Why should I find out what online retailers know about me?
In 2020, 87% of UK households shopped online, and the national industry is now valued at over 700 billion GDP. It's important to note that these profits don't just come from selling products, but also from the selling and sharing of user information.
You should find out what information the online retailers that you've shopped with know about you, because the data that they store is often personal, and could be having material impacts on your life.
